The family chores

in the modern day the family works together to contribute to chores of the house. As I did my chart on how my family distributes all chores, I saw that my mom works harder then anyone in the house to make our everyday life go on. She is the one who wakes up earlier then anyone and make sure we are all out of the door and ready to start our day. While we are out and about she is the one who stays home and cleans the house and make sure we have  a good dinner to eat when we come back home. In top of all she does, she has to go to work and she also contributes the growth of our house. In the other hand we all do contribute to the family and do the task that we have to do. For example I take my dog for a walk and my father does the same. I also contribute to make sure my room is clean and make sure my whole family is happy by doing things around the house. even though I do a lot I still feel like my mother is the back bone of the family and she is the one who keeps us together.

Religion is a controversial topic that brings up much argument. People all over the world believe in specific religion and have strong feeling towards that religion. A great example of a region that has strong feeling about their religion is the Middle East.  The Middle East live their lives on specific teaching of Mohammad, the prophet of Islam.  Unfortunately the Middle East use religion as reason to cause many harm to many people. As we see in the news every day, the Middle East has been using religion to control the government, but the involvement of government of the religion has been putting a brought war in the world and to civil war in many countries. I believe in the separation of church and state, because history proves that the church can cause many problems. IF you look back to the European time during the renaissance or the age of reasoning, you can see that the church murdered many people because of free speech. its my opinion if the world followed the U.S. the world would be in better place. Freedom of speech, right to practice any religion and the religion having zero involvment with governemtn

Global Inequality chapter 9

People all over the world are suffering from hunger, and poverty while we are enjoying fine dining, fast cars and live in a perfect life. People in the west worry about ,I want to have the fastest car, the new IPhone or a great nick air shoes. While in the other hand people in India and eastern countries and African countries have no food, no home, and are in bad health condition. Global inequality is very important and should not be forgotten.

Everyday people contributing to this inequality and this cause. For example is Brad pitt and his wife went to Iran and contributing to the earth quack that killed many, or Soccer player Drogba building a hospital in Africa.  We see that there are those who are more blessed then we are helping the people who are in danger. This is a great example of spreading the wealth and helping people to live a better life.

To me social class does matter in the U.S. As we seen in the PBS article ,when Karen a educated African American took  her self-made boyfriend to her house , he was not accepted by the family. I believe that people look at you and what you do. They look at your education level and how smart you are. A lot of people judge you and the things you do. U.S more than any country there is a visible social class difference ,from who doesn’t have a green card to your everyday doctor.  Wish there was a way people could look pass the social class but sadly its not possible.

As I read chapter seven ,a very interesting topic on crime and criminal activities ,one thing that caught my eyes was the story of willie. He was a homeless man who lived In corner and made his money from finding old news paper that people throw in trash and selling them. The interesting part of the story was when willie was jailed because criminal story. What happen to willie is he started hanging in street corners with people who was criminals and eventually adopted their ways. I agree with this for many reasons because when someone is without any money and has nothing to loss, will do whatever to get something to eat or little money. When willie was released from jail he again returned to the street when a few years later he was once again imprisoned.

Chapter 6

                     While listening to the tape and watching the video it was very interesting who easily people are controlled by whom the believe are superior to them. In the milgram experiment its a good example of how people listen to someone that are in the power sit. this is a perfect explanation to the German soldiers who took part of the mass killing of Jews  gays,disable and ext. The people looked up to powerful and strong leaders ,i see it as a brain wash. This is an interesting topic because it explains how people to this day risk their life and do dangerous thing like terrorist act. 

Nurture over nature

The debate between nature and nurture is definitely an interesting topic because it can bring up many controversial question. I personally think that as time goes by people’s religions, and belief change. For example if we look back to many years ago we see that female had next to no power in social life. Fast forward to the modern day, we can see a huge change. Females are no longer powerless, but the complete opposite. We live in a world that decisions are made equally between men and women; it can be decision in everyday life or a decision that can change the world. By presenting this details I am comfortable enough to say that natural things doesn’t run the world but the people and the decision that they make is always the last call.  Everyone learns from either experience or other people what is right or wrong. I am a firm believer of nurturing over natural things because as time changes so do the people and the way we live.
